Everything you need to know about CuePitch — coaching, pricing, inbound calls, and data security.
How does the real-time coaching work?
CuePitch listens to both sides of your call in real time. An AI coach observes the conversation and helps you throughout — spotting objections and suggesting responses, prompting discovery questions when the prospect reveals pain, and nudging you to close when buying signals appear. Everything shows on your screen only.
Can the prospect hear the AI?
No. The coaching prompts are only shown to you on screen. The prospect hears nothing but your voice.
Do I need to install anything?
No. CuePitch runs entirely in your browser. Just log in, grant microphone access, and start dialing.
What phone numbers can I call?
CuePitch supports outbound calls to standard landline and mobile numbers. Premium-rate and emergency numbers are blocked.
Can I use CuePitch on my phone?
CuePitch is optimized for desktop browsers where you can see coaching prompts while talking. Mobile support is on our roadmap.
Are call transcripts available?
Yes. With your consent, calls are transcribed and available in your call history. All transcripts are automatically scrubbed of personally identifiable information (phone numbers, emails, SSNs, and credit card numbers) before storage.
Can I delete my call recordings and transcripts?
Yes. You can delete individual transcripts or entire call records from your call history at any time.
Is my data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your call data with third parties. Transcripts are PII-scrubbed and you can delete them at any time.
Is the warm-up line always the same persona?
No. Each call randomly selects from 8 distinct prospect personas with different industries, moods, and objection styles so practice never gets stale.
Are warm-up practice calls recorded?
Transcripts are stored for your coaching scorecard but are PII-scrubbed and can be deleted at any time. Practice minutes are tracked separately from live call minutes.
How are minutes counted?
Minutes are billed per call, rounded up to the nearest minute.
What happens after included minutes?
Overage billing applies at your plan's per-minute rate.
Can I buy more minutes?
Yes, prepaid minute packs are available from your billing page.
Do prepaid minutes expire?
No. Prepaid minutes roll over until used.
How do I get my dedicated number?
Automatically. When you upgrade to any paid plan, CuePitch provisions a dedicated US phone number for you. You can see it in your account settings right away. No setup required.
What happens when someone calls my number?
By default, an AI assistant answers and greets the caller by your name. It captures who's calling, their company, the reason for calling, and urgency level. You get an email summary and a suggested opener for your callback.
Can I forward calls to my cell instead?
Yes. Switch to Forward + Coach mode in settings. Calls ring your phone, and when you answer, CuePitch listens and coaches you in real time — just like on outbound calls. If you don't pick up, the AI takes the message.
What's a "callback opener" and why should I care?
After a missed call, the AI generates a personalized opening line for when you call them back. Something like: "Hi Sarah, I'm returning your call — I understand you're looking at pricing for your team." You sound prepared instead of clueless.
Do inbound calls use my included minutes?
AI-answered calls have a separate budget and don't eat into your outbound minutes. Forwarded calls (where you pick up with coaching) do count toward your plan minutes since the coaching engine is active.
Can prospects tell they're talking to an AI?
The AI is upfront — it introduces itself as an assistant for you and explains you're unavailable. It doesn't pretend to be human. Callers appreciate that their message will actually reach you instead of hitting a generic voicemail.
What if I get spam or abusive calls?
The AI classifies caller intent in real time. Spam and abusive callers are detected and the call is ended politely. Repeat offenders from the same number are rate-limited automatically. You only see legitimate messages.
Can I customize how the AI greets callers?
Yes. Set a greeting name in your inbound settings. The AI will say "Hi, you've reached [your name]'s line" — or whatever name you choose. You can also switch between AI and forwarding mode anytime.
How do I know when I've missed a call?
Three ways: you get an email with the full message summary, a browser notification if you have CuePitch open, and a running log in your call history under the Inbound tab.
What happens to my number if I cancel?
Your dedicated number is released when your subscription ends. If you resubscribe later, you'll get a new number. We recommend updating any outgoing caller ID or voicemail greetings before canceling.
